Spoken-Latin Seminars and Workshops

haec pagina latine

Spoken-Latin seminars offer excellent opportunities for practicing Latin in the most active possible way since classroom sessions, discussion groups, and kinesthetic activities are all carried out entirely in Latin. Often there are also special sessions designed to help teachers who want to teach Latin in Latin.

Although the Conventiculum Rusticum and the Conventiculum Vasintoniense were held in Washington in the summers of 2003 through 2011, there are not currently any spoken Latin seminars or workshops being offered here in the Pacific Northwest. However, such opportunities are available, usually in the summer, in North America, Europe and other parts of the world. Below are listed a few recommended events being held in 2017 in the USA.
